Numerous sources have revealed that there was a lot of violence and intimidation during the highly anticipated 2023 Lagos State gubernatorial election.

Shocking footage has emerged showing security personnel standing idly by as chaos ensues, or even aiding in the suppression of voters.
Despite measures put in place to ensure a fair and peaceful election, reports indicate that many polling stations were subjected to violent attacks by unidentified individuals, leading to the disenfranchisement of many voters. In some cases, police officers were seen standing by as the violence unfolded, failing to intervene or provide protection.
The disturbing trend of security personnel being either inactive or complicit in the violence has sparked outrage and calls for urgent action to be taken to address the situation.
The people of Lagos State are now left to wonder what the outcome of the election will be in light of the blatant disregard for the electoral process and the safety of voters.
In reaction to the chaos, Falz tweeted: “I am so livid. This level of fuckery is unbelievable!
“A couple of Arise TV journalists were very badly beaten up at my polling unit. OF COURSE, in the presence of Police officers!”
“On the basis of which logic do you conclude that it’s okay to use force to get people to ‘vote’ for you ? All you supporters and enablers of this fxxkery are even more despicable. You know better, but you are EVIL at heart. You are VILE!”
Also, Peter Okoye said; “We do not have police in Nigeria! All we have is thugs with uniforms! SHAME ON THEM!
It may be recalled that the police had described the threat issued to non-indigenes of Lagos by the State’s Parks Management Committee Chairman, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo as a mere joke.
Oluomo had in a trending video, threatened Igbos residing in Lagos State to either come out and vote for the All Progressives Congress, APC in the ongoing governorship elections or remain indoors.
