“Atiku is too confident of the penalties”: Sani predicts PDP ends

Nigerians have reacted in many different ways to what Shehu Sani said about the problems inside the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before the 2023 elections.

The presidential campaign of Atiku Abubakar, the umbrella party’s nominee for the 2023 election, has sparked the fury of around five PDP governors.

For the sake of justice and equality, the governors, headed by Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, are requesting that Iyorchia Ayu, the national chairman of the PDP, step down and be replaced by a southerner.

They have made it a must to be a part of Atiku’s campaign for president in 2023 in order to drive home their demands.

The governors were said to have backed a certain presidential contender last week, but on their return to Nigeria on Friday, December 30, they refuted the story.

Sani, a former senator and PDP governorship candidate in Kaduna state, responded to the situation with a cryptic statement on his Twitter page.

He stated:

“G-5 are just dragging the match to penalty kicks; And penalty kicks can be suicidal.”
