According to reports, Chelsea pointed to a technical issue as the reason behind the unsuccessful transfer of their winger, Hakim Ziyech, to Paris Saint-Germain.
Postngr gathered that the deal was set to be a loan move for the rest of the season but failed to materialize on the deadline day. Both clubs had agreed on personal terms, but the necessary documentation was not submitted in time.
Ziyech was even in Paris, ready to be presented as a PSG player, but had to return to London after the deal fell through.
The Telegraph claims that the failed transfer was due to a technology glitch, contradicting earlier reports that the incorrect documents were sent three times.
Ziyech is said to be disappointed with the turn of events, as he was eager to leave Stamford Bridge in January.
