The FA is currently investigating the altercation that occurred between staff members of Arsenal and Aston Villa during the Gunners’ 4-2 victory on Saturday.
In stoppage time of the game at Villa Park, Arsenal analyst Miguel Molina and Villa’s Victor Manas had an altercation. This happened when Jorginho’s shot, which bounced off Emi Martinez’s head, gave Mikel Arteta’s team a 3-2 lead.
Postngr gathered that on Monday, the FA announced that they are looking into the incident in the stands.
According to reports, Manas, who previously worked at the Emirates during Unai Emery’s tenure, was incensed by Molina’s celebrations in the press box.
Stewards intervened to defuse the situation, and Molina eventually left the media area. Sources deny that he was expelled.
