Manny Monie, a former signee of Portable’s record label, has released a diss track aimed at his ex-boss.

Post Nigeria gathered that, in the track, Manny referred to Portable as a “baboon” and a “federal government liability,” which Portable had previously called himself in a viral video where police arrested him at his bar.
The arrest was based on a petition that someone filed against Portable, which he believed was done by Manny Monie.
Portable was eventually arrested by the police on March 31, after failing to respond to their summons within the 72-hour ultimatum.
In response, Manny Monie claimed responsibility for the petition, stating that he had written it in December 2022. Despite his efforts to bring Portable in for questioning, he was unsuccessful.
‘’I was the one that wrote the petition against portable. It is not today we wrote the petition. We wrote it since December last year.
“The police have tried their possible best. They did not want his name to ‘spoil’ online so they invited him over.
“They gave him at least three months to say his own side of the story. He beat me, assaulted me, seized my property, made false allegations against me online”, said Manny Monie
In Manny’s now-viral diss track, he mocked the ‘Zazu’ crooner, calling him a baboon and federal government liability.
Referring to Portable as those, Manny Monie vowed to write a petition against the ‘wahala’ musician if he ever threatened him again.
