The vice presidential candidate of the PDP and governor of Delta, Sen. (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa sent his condolences to Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa after the death of his first son, Hassan Abdullahi Sule.
At 36, Hassan was a promising, humble and friendly young man, according to Okowa.
In his condolence message, Okowa conveyed his thoughts and prayers to Sule and his family, and urged them to take comfort in the knowledge that “God gives life and takes”.
He also assured Sule that the government and people of Delta were with him in prayer during this difficult time.
Okowa emphasized that it was never a parent’s wish to bury their children, but that God had a plan for His people.
He wished the Sule family, Akwanga Local Government Area, and Nasarawa state the strength to overcome this loss.
