After Dani Alves was jailed for the alleged rape of a young woman in a Barcelona nightclub on December 30, rumours surfaced about his potential breakup with Spanish model Joana Sanz.

Despite Sanz claiming she would stand by her husband in his most difficult moment, it seems their relationship may have ended.
Sanz has decided to focus on her professional career and remains active on social media. In a recent Instagram story, Sanz acknowledged struggling in both her relationships and at bowling, writing “lucky in the game, unlucky in love” and adding “neither in the game nor in love.”
Sanz and Alves’ last meeting was on February 5, lasting just under an hour in compliance with prison regulations.
Sanz is focusing on her professional commitments to recover from the blow and recently traveled to Dubai to promote the opening of a Spanish beauty firm’s first store and clinic in one of the UAE capital’s luxurious shopping centers.
Furthermore, she received a standing ovation while opening the show for designer Lola Casademunt by Maite at the 77th edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week held in Madrid.
