No less than 7 people die while returning from APC rally in Kano

Following an accident that happened on the Kano-Zaria road on January 6, seven people returning from the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate’s campaign event in Kano have been officially declared deceased.

Post Nigeria found out that the people who died were from the town of Kwanar Dangora in the Kiru LGA. They died when their Golf car hit an oil tanker.

Five victims died at the scene, while two more were pronounced dead at the Murtala Muhammed Hospital, according to Tukur Lawan, a resident of the town.

Lawan said;

“We all attended the rally, and on our way back, the tragic incident occurred. We woke up today full of sorrow.

“After they collided, the tanker detached from the vehicle and crushed the Golf car against the barricade on the road.”

The deceased have been identified as Bala Kariya, Barau Kariya, Hamza Huntu, Danladi Gidan Algaita, Musbahu Gidan Diraman, Yakubu Gidan Diraman and Lawan Gidan Diraman.
