The Ohanaeze Ndigbo organization has called on the people of Southeast Nigeria to disregard the “sit-at-home” order issued by Simon Ekpa, a self-proclaimed supporter of Nnamdi Kanu.
The organization has also placed a $50,000 bounty on Ekpa, who had ordered the “sit-at-home” for Monday and Tuesday across the Southeast.
The Secretary-General of Ohanaeze, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, has labelled Ekpa as the “number one enemy of the Igbo nation” and urged Southeast governors to declare Monday and Tuesday as public holidays to allow citizens to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) before the January 29th deadline.
Ohanaeze has also called on Igbos living in Finland to report Ekpa to INTERPOL to aid in his arrest.
