Two minors were arrested by Osun Amotekun Corps for allegedly breaking into a shop in Osogbo, stealing recharge cards, beverages, and cash.
According to Vanguard Nigeria Newspaper, the suspects, aged 11 and 13 years, were caught at their hideout with the help of the surveillance team.
No relatives have come forward to inquire about them, Osun Amotekun Corps Commandant, Brigadier-General Bashir Adewimbi (retd) confirmed the incident.
He said: “We apprehended them at their hideout after they were traced to the place by a surveillance unit and were arrested with the stolen items.
“During interrogation, they confessed to the crime. They will soon be handed over to the police for necessary action.”
