Rasheed Olarewaju Oyedeji, the bursar of the Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun, has been cleared of alleged financial misconduct by the Osun State House of Assembly.

In March 2022, Oyedeji was accused of committing financial misconduct and infractions that resulted in the loss of funds from the institution.
However, following a conclusive investigation and the acquisition of fresh documents by newsmen on the matter, the House ruled that Oyedeji should be exonerated from the allegations of financial misconduct and other infractions.
A letter signed by S. A. Amusan, Clerk of the Osun State House, and dated September 6, 2022, was sent to the Provost of the College, stating that Oyedeji had been cleared of the various allegations levelled against him, as contained in the report of the periodic check.
“The State of Osun at its executive session has critically examined the report of the House Committee 9n Public Accounts on the matter vis-a-vis other available documents, records and testimonies. Having discovered that a series of issues raised against you by the Office of the Auditor General appears bogus and unsubstantiated, the House came to a conclusion that you should be exonerated from the allegations of financial misconduct and other infractions.
“I, therefore, write on the instructions of the Honourable Speaker, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye to inform you that you have been exonerated from the various allegations leveled against you as contained in the report of the periodic check.”
