Following the Super Falcons’ latest defeat to Mexico, head coach Randy Waldrum believes that his team will learn from the experience.

The former African champions have now lost six consecutive games, including a 1-0 defeat to the hosts in their opening match at the Revelation Cup, a four-nation invitational tournament.
The only goal of the game was scored by Kiana Palacios, just five minutes from time.
Despite the loss, Waldrum remains optimistic that the team will take the lessons learned from the game and apply them in future matches.
“It’s learning process for us. It was an opportunity to try new things. New ideas and new tactics,” Waldrum said after the game.
“We started the game strongly though they dominated the last 20 minutes of the first half.
“It’s always disappointing when you concede late in any game. We will learn from this defeat and prepare for our next game.”
The Super Falcons will take on Colombia in their next game in the competition on Saturday.
