Sam Chukwueze, a popular Nigerian footballer who plays for the Spanish side Villarreal, and Victor Osimhen, another well-known Nigerian footballer, conversed joyously on an Instagram live session after Napoli’s league title win.
Osimhen, who was excited over the win and scored the winning goal for the club that clinched the title after 33 years of waiting, launched an Instagram live session on his page and conversed with several people, including Chukwueze and Italian football legend, Mario Balotelli.
During their video chat, Chukwueze teased Osimhen, who hails from Abia, by telling him to go and buy another Airpod since he has won the league.
In response, Osimhen slammed Chukwueze, saying, “Thunder fire you, I no like the new one.”
The duo continued their chat, with Osimhen recounting how everyone looked down on Napoli at the beginning of the season.
Osimhen was a key factor in Napoli’s title win, with over 20 goal contributions this season.
