Major markets in Lagos were closed on January 25th to allow traders to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) before the upcoming election on February 25th.
PostNgr gathered that the management of the International Trade Fair Complex, Balogun, and Article Markets said the decision was taken to encourage traders to obtain their PVCs and exercise their right to vote.
Similarly, an automobile spare parts market in the state was closed down last Saturday for the same purpose.
