Two Nigerians charged for $500,000 fraud in Canada

Two Nigerians were arrested in Canada for $500,000 airline ticket fraud.

Gbemisola Akinrinade and Adebowale Adiatu allegedly sold over 250 tickets worth more than $500,000 to customers in the Calgary area, mostly for flights to Africa.

PostNGR gathered that they face charges for fraud, conspiracy, property possession obtained by crime, false pretenses, and computer misuse.

Police advise people to verify the legitimacy of websites when making purchases.
