Dr Ayasen Kemeakegha, the Dean of Students Affairs at the Bayelsa State-owned Niger Delta University, Amassoma, died in a single-car accident on Saturday.
The incident occurred along Tombia-Amassoma Road in the state and Kemeakegha was reportedly alone in his Toyota Corolla vehicle, with plate number 06H 132 BY, when the accident happened.
PostNGR gathered that he was burnt to death in the fatal crash.
The Bayelsa State Police Command confirmed the incident and stated that the corpse has been taken to the morgue and an investigation is ongoing.
